Not only is there free fiesta during election time, there might even be extra holidays as well! Besides the election day holiday on Monday May 10, rumours are now going around that May 11 will also be declared a public holiday.
It seems that some are pressuring the government to declare the extra holiday since so many people will be going back to their provinces to vote. They reason that, with so many people out of town to vote on Monday, commuters will need at least the whole of Tuesday to return back to their places of work.
Deputy presidential spokesperson Gary Olivar said we have to wait until Friday to hear more on this matter, so stay tuned!

Yes, until you have blue ink on fingers. If you do, you will have to pay for the lechon :)
